Mixed Feelings
Anime are created with the desire to draw out the emotions of the viewer. School Days succeeded, in that regard, by drawing out an immense amount of anger and frustration from me. This could have potentially been a decent anime; if it weren't for the fact that the main protagonist was portrayed as such a spineless, deceitful and selfish prick. Just like every bloody eroge, the main protagonist has girls flinging themselves at him, left and right. That's to be expected, in these kind of anime, but it's how these romantic relationships are being approached which makes me boil with anger. The main protagonist, like I said, is a selfish, self-serving dimwit that the authors of this anime decided to have trample all over the feelings of the female characters involved - and the most infuriating thing is; half the time the character is completely oblivious to everything going on around him and the other half of the time, he takes every opportunity to screw over whoever cares for him. The only good part to this anime was the early beginning - But after less than midway through, this anime becomes just painful and drab to watch. Towards the end of this anime; I found myself hoping this ends horribly for the main protagonist.
