Contains some spoiler but dont worry, i will tell you when the spoiler starts, anyway, lets go on to the review!

"Have you ever imitate someone when you were young?" Yep, i do.
"And did you feel enjoyed with what you do?" SURE!

That line is maybe the best to tells what happen in this anime.

STORY
In this anime, we're gonna hear about Chuunibyou or Eight-Grade syndrome, what is it? its a A Japanese slang term which roughly translates to "Middle School 2nd Year Syndrome, People with chuunibyou believe they have special powers unlike others. In this anime, the story tells about a boy which had cured from Chuunibyou and then he met a girl which have a serious chuunibyou problem, is that it? nope, The story will tell us the behind why their acted like that (Chuunibyou) and of course the relationsip between them.

As for me, its kinda unique one, They bring a new fresh romance anime. Their love growth gradually, not like the other anime which usually the love start from the first they're meet. Its not something like that, love is something that grows naturally, they cant just happen in just one meet. and so i totally agree with the love perspective in this anime.

*spoiler start*
if you're looking a kissing scene, then maybe it will disappoint you. but i am sorry to say that will not happen
*spoiler end*

as suspected from KyoAni, they rarely put any kissing scenes in their anime though i must admit, without it, the "romance feeling" can still be felt. even, the romance feeling was much more stronger.

ART and CHARACTER
How about the art? if you have saw K-on, then maybe this anime will remembering you, the cuteness from each character are really visible. you cant help to falling in love with each character, not just from the face aspects but the behavior that they did was so.... MOE!

The art itself was really fits with the character, while the character was described to be cute (from the behavior or acts). the art itself represent the message of "cute", big eyes, cute face, or fascinating smile. and its totally all the message will be received by the viewer, thats what i think.

Furthermore, i was so surprise even in just 12 episode they really made each character have a "fair appearance" and have their own uniqueness, also none of the characters are not useful.

SOUND
No doubtly, the sound was absolutely brilliant too. The OP "Sparkling Daydream" by ZAQ was so catchy, i couldnt pass/skip the OP. its just so epic. and even the Ending song too, "inside identity" if i didnt wrong. it really represents on what happen in this anime.

Not just the OP and the ED itself, the seiyuu voice must we appreciate too. when it comes to the last episode, their feelings through the sound really can be felt. the sadness, the happiness, i couldnt help myself to shed my tears when i hear Rikka's cry, its just so sad.

CONCLUSION
as for now, this romance anime is some of the anime that can shed my tears (though i must hidden it from my mother, lol). The atmosphere that they (Chuunibyou) created was so easy to understand, not too complicated but its not to simple too. and one message for me after i watching this is,

"Just be yourself, and act what really makes you comfortable"
