I used to be way into Bleach. It started out amazingly as it's simple school-life supernatural thing but in later (much later) chapters, it starts going down. If any anime was like a roller-coaster, it'd be Bleach. It has great moments that'll keep you begging for the next chapter and moments that'll make you wander why you ever even bothered with it.

Bleach is full of typical Shounen elements but that doesn't mean it's not good. The charcters are cool (though there are a ton of them), the art is beatiful, and the story started out great. But much much later in the story, it starts to seem like it is doing the same thing over again but with a few tweaks.

Overall, I really like this manga, but it could do better.
