Loved the anime and ever since watching it 2-3 years back ive been wanting to read the full story and finally got time to finish it. Bought the fantastic box set for it. And it did not dissapoint. Well worth the wait, money and lived up to my expectations. What ienjoyed about the anime was it dark and serious atmosphere. The story and characters were great. No fanservice or quirky stuff. Full on brutal action and character development. Good world building. All these thing apply to the manga aswell. And tbh gets even better after the cutoff point from where the anime left of. Really satisfied with the continuation and ending.
Another thing that stood out when it comes to the manga was the art. And especially the monster designs. Really cool and some of the best ive seen. The fights were cool and found myself really wanting to see that second part get an anime adaptation.
But overall a great manga. Great art, monster design. Good world building. Great character development and writing. Loved it.
