I was really looking forward to this anime as I thought it would be more focused on psychic powers amongst the students at a school fighting over who is the strongest psychic. I came to find it was part romance, Sc-Fi, Slice of Life and about 4 other sub genres that made it a jumbled mess. I really wish this would have had 12 or even 24 episodes to flush out the story because it was really rushed. None of the characters had any time to develop over the course of this film but somehow they did? The MC somehow becomes the strongest psychic even though he had no training whatsoever? AND FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THINGS WHY WAS HE KEEPING HIS PHONE IN HIS SWIMSUIT?
I think that there were a lot of plot lines in this story that really had potential.
1. Future Psychic traveling back in time to find other psychics
2. These future psychics live on the moon because earth was uninhabitable
3. the MC was a powerful psychic who's powers were sealed
4. the romance between the MC and his childhood friend (CLASSIC)
5. The Fox familiar
There were a lot of good avenues for story development that could have made this a 9/10 but because they rushed it with a movie the story really suffers. Overall I give it a 5/10 but I recommend you check it out for yourself and let me know what you think!
