8.2/10
Let me be clear: this is one incredibly stupid manga. Yet, it’s the kind of stupidity that causes you to crave more of it — I am just so baffled at every single reaction from the main character and the people around him. Despite this manga having a REALLY silly concept, it’s honestly pretty well written with its characters and storyline.
The characters all get little but ample screen time — though they may get 1,2 chapters before their eventual axe, it feels like they have served their purpose comedy wise, and their impact is still there. Their deaths may seem a bit lax to some, but I find it hilarious, especially when it’s accompanied by the mc’s reactions.
Dumbed down, the plot involves a “virgin” mc who wants no smoke with women, and he won’t get any until the story’s end, but the manga somehow keeps the story entertaining. The plot is, of course, not the most serious plot you’ll find out there — in fact, some of the scenes and art styles reminded me a bit of “Grand Blue,” — but that doesn’t mean this isn’t entertaining.
While there are some plot holes and questions with how society may be so dumb, but if you don’t take this too seriously and enjoy the story for its silly concept, it’s pretty funny and entertaining.
