The main character, Adachi gained the ability to read minds on his 30th birthday due to still being a virgin (it sounds weird, but it's actually good just give it a chance) and when he bumps into his coworker, Kurosawa, he hears all the things he has been thinking about him and his feelings for him are revealed, of course Kurosawa doesn't figure out about his powers till later in the anime. There's another side couple Tsuge and Minato, Tsuge is a romance author and Minato is a dancer looking to go pro but working part-time with a delivery company and that's how they meet. They bond over the fact that Tsuge took in a lost cat Minato had been previously seeing on the streets. Their romance does pick up but not much is overall shown so don't get too invested in the two, seeing a spinoff with these two would honestly be great to see kinda like Sasaki and Miyano did with Hirano and Kagiura.

Cherry Magic was overall pretty good, it's very wholesome and goofy at the same time since Adachi can hear alllllll of Kurosawa's thoughts and I mean all. In the beginning, the pacing is a bit slow, but things gradually pick up fast, especially in the last 2 episodes, things go by very, very fast, but honestly I think it was very well written. I would definitely recommend it overall especially if you are just getting into the romance/BL aspect of anime. It has a very happy ending where everyone is happy.

The only reason I gave it a 9 instead of a 10 was because I wish we got to see more of Tsuge and Minato and I wish it was just a little longer, 12 episodes are always nice, but the end went by so fast I wish we got to see more of their relationship after the ending.
