6.7/10
Alright, as your favorite gal connoisseur, this manga is certainly one of the otaku x gal romance story of all time. In other words, it’s pretty mediocre in all regards to plot and characters, but it’s still readable.
The plot is your everyday popular gyaru engagement story but with a small twist of the mc being a self-deprecating loser due to his tragic backstory. Yup, that’s it. Nothing else happens besides for their small interactions, and the romance doesn’t make sense, but it’s somewhat fun.
The story is a bit unique in regards to chapter three, which could spice up the plot, but the writing alone is pretty bad and not a lot of thought was put into the character interactions/feelings, so it’s not a serious story.
If you have a soft spot for gyaru stories like me, then the story is readable, but it’s basically a poorly-written romcom, which isn’t very reader friendly. Read it if u want, idc, I’ll just gobble it up until it becomes boring like the rest of them.
