seeing a lot of people suggest the manga over the anime, but i don't think OPM season 2 is bad - it's rather fun to watch and makes for an interesting follow up to the original. we get to see the continuation of saitama and genos' adventures, but with a bit more gravitas this time around, showing (similar to Boku no Hero Academia) the reality of a world where superheroes have become commonplace, and how that gets embedded into the capitalistic nature of society. even though OPM 2 tackles some serious themes, it still manages to stay lighthearted and keep the same pace as the original, introducing new characters and (potentially) stronger villains for saitama to test his mettle against (and for genos to become modern art in his attempt to defeat aforementioned villains), and despite being the most powerful hero in the world, somehow end up overshadowed by others to his dismay (a moment of silence for saitama's non-existent fan club). fight sequences are better, and the guitar-based music gets riff-ier, making for one stylish and hilarious anime.

verdict? if you liked OPM, you'll like season 2. given it's a direct continuation of the first season, i do suggest watching season 1 first, but both remain hilarious and action-packed, and make for a genuinely fun time.
