Do I need to explain myself? There hasn't been an anime that has the whole community in alliance like Death Note. It was a strong first 25, but after that it does tend to fall short. Those first 25 episodes tell an incredible story, where you don't know what might happen next. Death Note was my second anime so many years ago, but I can still remember every plot point even today. That was nearly 10 years ago when I last watched it. Death Note is just one of those animes that rope you in from the get-go. No matter what genre of anime you like, give Death Note a try.
