Victorique the "Golden Fairy of the Library" spends her school days in the library tower.
Kujou, aka the Black Reaper, is a young boy who finds death everywhere he goes. He has transferred to Saint Marguerite Academy boarding school.
He encounters Victorique in the tower and eventually they become close friends. But its a very abusive relationship.
Kujou is essentially Victorique's b*tch. He's a lapdog who does whatever she tells him to. And will always bring her sweets whenever he displeases her. He really cares about her (in a very p*ssy-whipped kinda way)
I dont know why he's so obsessed with this blonde loli tsundere who is always wearing a black dress and looks like a doll...wait i just answered my own question 🤔
Most of the mysteries they solve revolve around ghost stories. So there is alot of horror elements to the story. But there is no supernatural. Everything has an explanation.
There is also a much larger plot involving Victorique's mother, father, and paternal brother. And the reason behind Victorique's birth.
Unfortunately this is the worse part of the story since that plot isnt really that interesting. Its a way to add more weight to the overall story but really it wasnt needed.
The story is well written. The horror elements are very intriguing. The mysteries are fun.
All the characters are great. And despite the 2 main characters essentially being a c*nt and a b*tch they are actually great characters.
