6.1/10
To be honest, I wanted to like this manga, however, there was always this lingering feeling of awkwardness in each chapter that made the manga unreadable. To be specific, the transition from panel to panel could only be summarized as unnatural and awkward, which ruins most of the immersion and development the author intended.
The plot isn’t the most original nor is it the most cliche; there’s some originality, but there’s plenty bits of cliches and cringe in each character or development. The main character has a low self-esteem and the side characters virtually simp for the mc for some half-assed reasons; this doesn’t make the most entertaining read, but it isn’t bad by any means. However, like noted before, the awkwardness ruins most of the development because of the unnatural transitions created by the art.
The art-style and panel arrangements make this story unbearably unnatural and unserious, causing this manga to be worse than sillier counterparts by not having a clear identity.
