Mashiroiro Symphony: The Color of Lovers is a 1 cour anime. If the anime can be describe in numbers it would be.

"180"

The anime starts off with the main character Uryuu, Shingo who finds out that his sister Uryuu, Sakuno is lost. Even though she was told to stay still so that her brother can find her more easily over the phone. Her eyes caught an interesting little creature and she decides to follow the little bugger. While making her brother life more difficult her cellphone batteries dies and to top things off rains started pouring all over her! However all is not lost. Luckily she finds a tree and hides under it. While waiting for her brother she then encounters a friendly person named Sena, Airi. She aids Sakuno by letting her use her cellphone. Sakuno calls her brother and they have an awkward 3 way conversion over the phone. Shingo eventually figures out a plan and tells the ladies to meet at a park. They finally meet up and Shingo gets to meet Airi, Astonished by her beautiful charm and bust.

Now at this point for someone who has watch a lot of "harem animes" It would easy to deduct that this guy is a main character! This girl is so kawaii! The final episode must be a kiss scene with each other! Easy Deduction, case solve.

Nope, what this anime deliver is quite a curve ball. A 180 degree turn. Yin Yang.

The anime develops 2 female character very well. Keeping the anime interesting. However the other characters not so much. For female viewers might learn something interesting about men. However as a male viewer it was hurtful to not see the harem ending the way we want. Most harems genre anime usually ends in cliff hangers but this one doesn't so if your interested in watching an anime with a decent build up and an actual ending to a harem genre anime. Then pick this up.
