Reverse isekai romance stories are something I did not know I needed until recently. This manga is no exception to that fact, as this is incredibly wholesome, and engaging. Let me be blunt, slow-life mangas are incredibly boring and bland as they repeat the same plot point over and over again, especially ones revolving around agriculture. However, I can say with utmost certainty, this manga does not fall in the same rabbit hole due to its likable and realistic characters.
It’s no understatement to say that a slow-life manga or story is only good as the characters are because their wholesomeness, emotions, and interactions are the ultimatum of its engagement. Obviously, from my previous praise, the characters in this manga (so far) have been introduced quite warmly (?) with every interaction between each other not being forced or sudden. They also act rationally and realistic, considering their circumstances, while every interaction isn’t a forced romance plot point or “embarrassing to be embarrassing.”
The plot’s well-written in the sense the manga doesn’t rush the romance; at this point in time, there’s vague romance with most of the attention on each other enjoyment/happy expressions. The plot isn’t the most complicated nor does it strive to be ambitious, but that’s fine because the manga doesn’t need it.
With all things considered, this is one of the select few slow-life mangas I have enjoyed and probably the best out of what I have read. Even if you don’t quite enjoy slow-life mangas, opting in for the regular high school, drama romance, you need to give this a thought. Well, time to read 10 more trash slow-life mangas before I find another goldmine like this.
