Ah yes, the classic trope of being undervalued combined with the lack of awareness in the mc, surely, this can’t be bad at all, right? Who am I kidding, of course it is. To be fair to this manga, it started off decently well, but like all of its predecessors and successors, the plot becomes spontaneous once the author runs out of ideas. The manga in its entirety is not necessarily written badly nor feels “uninspired” due to it challenging rather difficult topics like PTSD. However, even if it does try to be unique, the pacing of this manga washes away all the groundwork the author might’ve laid.

To follow up on the mc’s trauma, it’s absurdly unrealistic solely due to the pacing. At one moment, the mc is star-struck as his whole life crashed down, but he then immediately acts like any other person once plot calls. Likewise, the overcoming of his trauma was beyond sudden and rushed, causing the scene to turn out idiotic and baffling rather than moving. But wait, there’s more; once the mc has a somewhat happy life, the author decides to immediately put in a life-or-death battle as a nice “after party.”

The art is also pretty inconsistent for relative enjoyability, as at times it’s simply beautiful but then in the next panel the characters will have heads shaped like a bobble head. This could’ve been somewhat decent, but it seems the author can’t dedicate more than two chapters to an arc.
