Banished mc mangas have been a long-lasting trend for a while now, and this is no different from the rest. It’s cliché, the storyline is what we’ve read hundreds of times, and the mc is op asf. With that being said, it's not bad.
This may not be the most unique thing you’ve read, but I would be lying if I said it wasn’t entertaining or a “fun” read. Like a previous commenter said, with this type of genre especially, you shouldn’t expect much. However, for a manga’s standard, the art is above average and characters are incorporated well enough for the story to be interesting.
We have formed a strict prejudice against the banishment genre, causing us to blindly hate only because it’s not original. Either way, most readers read to have a good time and this manga surely doesn’t fall short on that. Though it may not be the most life changing manga, I can’t say it wasn’t good. As Portnoy would say, “It’s a good football pizza,” is the best way I can describe this manga. Just solid.
PS: The mc isn’t aware of how op he actually is so that’s the annoying part of the story. Also, a possible harem. Not possible but definitely.
