The wholesome Kuma Punch bear onesie girl Yuna is back, and to more adventures with Fina!

Honestly, when Season 1 aired back in Fall 2020, I did not think much of it for being a different take on a fantasy Isekai, the likes of Bofuri with the VRMMO concept. And while it felt fresh back then, as mentioned, I gave it a hoodwink of a thought about novelist Kumanano's LN, but later, found it to be quite the "good but not great" package put together. And this feeling is certainly the same of what I can say about Season 2 here, 2.5 years after the original season's debut.

Nothing has really changed from the premiere to the sequel, except for more characters and their wholesome interactions as Yuna grows from strength to strength, being more than just the reliable bear onesie strong adventurer that earns her the status as the walking bear. This at least gives the adaptation more consistency that the sequel will be just as enjoyable as the prequel, though now that Yuna is taking on more heavy-handed duties and excelling in kingdoms other than just her very own.

This is at the very least, the premiere effort of EMT Squared's lineup being the highest-rated franchise for the studio thus far, as it stands on the same merit as the prequel in consistent visuals and animation. The OST however, I'd take it or leave it as both Azumi Waki and Yuna's CV Maki Kawase comes in for the sequel song rondo, though less appealing than Season 1.

Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear is an alright chill pill if you want a decent change from the stereotypical Isekai, it's an alright time-waster actually that now 2 seasons in, is absolutely a couch potato kind of show to just simply relax, watch, and have a good time.
