Man I've missed a good by-the-book romcom. This was the most satisfying read in a long time. There are no unnecessary complications, misunderstandings or other annoying tropes. Just a solid romantic comedy that know what it is and executes it perfectly.
The story is basically Toradora! but condensed into half the runtime. I would dare to say though it is just as good. No chapter is wasted and it all flows from beginning to end beautifully. 10/10 story, not because it's anything groundbreaking but because it's executed perfectly. Couldn't have been written better.
The characters are alright, they serve their roles well and are likable, other than though I can't give them too much praise. None of them were particularly complex or went further than what the story needed them to. 7-8/10 and I don't think they could've done any better without ruining the story and pacing.
The art is pretty. I liked it. I am a bit put back by the juvenile look of everyone (what with everyone being 16 and older), not my personal cup of tea. But it is pretty so I give it a 7/10.
Overall this is a very enjoyable manga. If you need a refill on some high quality doki dokis you're in for some good sh*t. Very much recommended.
