I feel a lot of people are making a great mistake when they watch this show, if you are here to see another war story with dull characters go elsewhere. GWitch has been a delight so far *if* you can take slower pacing. There is conflict, there is combat, there are stakes. But you have to watch the show to see that.

A common issue I feel is people are going into the show expecting to hate it and picking apart every little things as they're forcing themselves to watch it. If GWitch is not for you, just leave. The story is disconnected enough that you miss nothing from the main gundam universe.

If you want to get into Gundam without the incredibly vast timeline and high epsiode counts, GWitch is a good start. Suletta has gained far more hate than she deserves, though she isn't the most interesting character in the show. The side characters carry on the story quite a bit and build the world around Suletta. This is both good and bad, though Suletta has her own mysteries that are developed through the show.

Two episodes from the end, my opinion is that while GWitch may not be the best Gundam show, but it is far from the worst. There's a lot to enjoy if you go into it with an open mind rather than closing yourself for X,Y,Z reasons. And again, if GWitch isn't for you, just stop watching.

If you want a really bad Sci-Fi "mech" anime with girlfriends, go watch Kannazuki no Miko. It sucks.
