Yakusoku no Neverland/The Promised Neverland reels you in with a cute synopsis then haunts your nightmares for days. I was recommended this anime as my first proper anime and I went in blind, expecting a short adventure, yet I was hooked and binged it. It's great, in fact it's so great I decided to skip watching the second season and decided to read the entire manga instead, because of what I heard about the second season and it being rushed and whatnot.
As for the anime itself: I liked the art style and how faithful it is to the manga, the characters were well-rounded and likable in their own ways. I totally recommend this anime to anybody.
