Yakusoku no Neverland/The Promised Neverland. It's a simplistic story that reels you in with a cute synopsis then haunts your nightmares for days. At first I was recommended to watch the anime, so I did watch the first season but then heard some things about the second season, and with how long it takes to reach the conclusion I just decided to read the manga instead.

And boy did I read it.

This manga is simply amazing. For the first time in my entire life I cry at something that isn't a visual media, I thought stories or manga couldn't get to me, but I was wrong. ...

Mixed Feelings
Often times when you are a victim of bullying, your bully will have rationalized and doubled down on their bullying, while you suffer at the hands of and hate the guts of said bully. However, Koe no Katachi/A Silent Voice flips the script completely. Protagonist Ishida Shoya, an elementary school bully, falls into a pit of self-hate and depression due to his bullying of poor little Nishimiya Shouko, who in has nothing but kindness amd care for Shoya, and countless shenanigans occur as he tries to find her and her forgiveness, and to make up the years of childhood he ruined for her, before we ...

Death Note (Manga) add
What can I say? The immense popularity of Desu Nōto/Death Note is absolutely warranted. Its story is magnificent with twists and turns that leave you speechless, the geniuses on show are unprecedented, the characters themselves all felt real - each with their nuances, giving each individual a feel; by the end you can tell which character is which just by the things they'd say. The art style is great, and the story had good pacing, plot twist after plot twist yet it always surprises you... Death Note is a manga for the ages, absolutely great.

I recommend this manga for sure as you'd feel from my ...

Nozoki Ana (Manga) add
Nozoki Ana/A Peephole is one of those things that you come to because you're horny then stay because you fell in love with the story. In my case, that's my exact experience. Nozoki Ana doesn't have a complicated plot, yet it's not like the other ecchi - it has a nuanced story that had me depressed for days after finishing it, I cried at the sad scenes, I smiled at the cute scenes, then the end had me laughing with joy, and then emptiness. The story of Tatsuhiko Kido and his weird neighbour Ikuno Emiru is, at first glance, bland, but as you go on ...

Yakusoku no Neverland/The Promised Neverland reels you in with a cute synopsis then haunts your nightmares for days. I was recommended this anime as my first proper anime and I went in blind, expecting a short adventure, yet I was hooked and binged it. It's great, in fact it's so great I decided to skip watching the second season and decided to read the entire manga instead, because of what I heard about the second season and it being rushed and whatnot.

As for the anime itself: I liked the art style and how faithful it is to the manga, the characters were well-rounded and likable ...
