Yakusoku no Neverland/The Promised Neverland. It's a simplistic story that reels you in with a cute synopsis then haunts your nightmares for days. At first I was recommended to watch the anime, so I did watch the first season but then heard some things about the second season, and with how long it takes to reach the conclusion I just decided to read the manga instead.
And boy did I read it.
This manga is simply amazing. For the first time in my entire life I cry at something that isn't a visual media, I thought stories or manga couldn't get to me, but I was wrong. I just needed to find the one, and this one was it. All I have to say is this story not only entertains, but teaches a lot of lessons; never give up, nothing is truly clear, and no one are what they seem. I love this manga and I absolutely recommend it.
However as it is the case with my usual readings, it's too long and too twist-y to be re-readable, so I'll let it enjoy itself in my memories.
