If you like dark animes that have the pretense of being lighthearted, this definitely fits that category. It not super in-your-face gory but it does present some gory themes and actions that can be hard to watch. One thing I liked a lot about this anime is that it is fast-paced and you're surprised how far they've gotten by the end of the first season. One thing I don't like about this anime is the weird sexual overtones. I've seen people justify it as "artistic choice" and "natural examination of children being curious about sex" but it feels very uncomfortable at times. Others have said the mangaka's social media makes it fairly obvious that this is more about fetishization than artistic exploration.
