This is the kind of anime that many will see for the almost poetic feeling of it or for the great art performance that is outstanding for sure.

I would say there's even a third reason for watching it.
The hidden message behind.

Story: 9/10
The story is not only one story, but two stories in parallel. Many have probably known the physical link between the two stories. (Easy, one word, Twin.)
There's also a psychological link. (This one, I'm sure, not many have seen it)
We know by the synopsis that Chiiro has a short term memory lost problem. That make her truly lonely and it's making her very sad.
May contain little spoiler

On the parallel story, Miyako seem all happy and full of life, but later in the story, we understand that she's at least even more depressed than Chiiro that has a physical problem. Miyako is unhappy because of the fact that all her life, she has been living all by herself.
}
Now, the two seems to feel exactly the same way, but one is because of a physical problem, the other only psychological.
I have just explained what is the hidden message I was talking about. This story isn't for the emotional factor, but for the simple purpose of comparing someone that was obliged to live alone and someone that not remember the one she lived with. In the end, the two characters feel exactly the same and is proof that being alone can be similar of having no memory at all.
Before the show, I never thought about that, and when I was able to make this psychological link between the two stories, I was totally convinced of this psychological theory. This is exactly why I thought this was not only very good.

Art: 10/10
One of the better performance in an anime for sure, what beat this is the second season. Weird angles but always accurate, special effects, form in the view, view by mirror, those entire characteristic makes for a truly poetic and artistic atmosphere. Something I never see anywhere else... (Besides rare movies)

Sound: 9/10
We have a great op song. The translated version and the original are equally good. The voice acting is superb, not has quite genius like some others, but still way up there with the best. What I mean is the fact the character has a voice that fit their own kind of emotion and feeling.

Character: 8/10
The character are nothing exceptional but are very good, the fact that they are acting normally and they have a certain evolution help the scenario a lot. For examples that the character are acting without excess I will cite some events. The whole part where Renji try to write a story with Chiiro is quite introspective of what Chiiro is truly feeling. Remember what’ve told you, if that’s the way Chiiro is feeling, Miyako isn’t well far from this too. Kyosuke is maybe the other character worth mentioning. He starts the series like a borderline pervert, but soon enough, we will know that it was not perversion that was his motive, he is serious about her. (Won’t say who) He will help her with his own method but will actually succeed in helping her.

The Enjoyment really depend if you get it or not, I was myself only giving maybe a 7 or an 8 after some episode, and at the exact moment I saw the comparison I was talking about. I have changed my mind. I have tough to myself: “OK, this anime isn’t actually something to watch for an emotional ride, but more for a feel for something poetic, and maybe a tough you never have before.” It was the case for me, and if it’s yours, then, you will like it like me.
