It was for the most part more of the same, but the story was a bit more interesting. It delved a bit into the history of some of the characters, and it was a fun and exciting adventure. It's too bad there isn't more to watch as of yet because it left on a bit of a cliff-hanger.
I liked the animation for this season better than the last season. It was cleaner, and it suited the background better. Whereas, in the first season, the background design and the character animation didn't seem to work together as well.
The music was pretty nice. Not amazing, but decent.
If you liked the first season of Granblue Fantasy, you will likely enjoy this one as well. And if you didn't, you probably won't care for this season either. But for fans, it is good.
