Mixed Feelings
So One Room is something completely different than any other anime series I have watched till this date. Let me start of by saying it is quite short anime and easy bingeable. It consists out of 12 episodes with each 4min in length. Unique about One Room is that the whole show is shown in the first person perspective. You the main protagonist, who moved to Tokyo for his job are confronted with 3 characters, your new neighbor Yui, your younger sister Natsuki and your old childhood friend and songwriter Moka. The anime also follows its category of slice of life and has a relaxing and calming feel, with quite smooth and again relaxing music. The characters are cute and enjoyable and that is pretty much all. Now in my opinion this show losses a huge amount of its potential being that it had a good and innovative idea, but not well accomplished. For one the main character does not speak nor really interact with the cast but the dialog is mostly just so bad and doesn't make sense, since only one person is always speaking. There is no character development or almost any background information/story regarding the characters. And while watching this anime there where multiple weird ecchi like shots and experiences, that really weren't necessary. Overall I would say this short little anime is ok if you don't really know what you want to do and just sit down and relax a bit, but I would not really recommend it to anybody I know.
