Now, I see a lot of people complaining about this arc and the fact that it's an adaptation from the movie by the same name. These complaints see this movie as a cash grab. And, well, while that may be true (let's not pretend like big companies don't do things whith money on their mind), I think it's a necessity for movies that form part of the main plot. This is not a spinoff that you can just skip if you don't feel like watching a movie or don't have time to do so. It's a main arc. Having it adapted to a TV show format facilites watching it a lot for people that prefer shows over movies, or for people without much time to watch anime.
At the end of the day, you can just ignore it if you've watched the movie. Stop crying about it, there are people who benefit from this format.
