One thing the anime did spectacularly was every villian was interesting, and creative in their fights. Think ball/arrow demons combo, deep sea triplets, the scholar/drum guy. They even set up The lower Rank 1 perfectly in the Muzan encounter but he/she turned out to be this zero IQ letdown that employs this dream thread things that had zero effectiveness, then keeps reusing the useless hynotizing skill, then fuses with the train to make sure it became completely immobile with this massive weakspot.
This movie overall felt like no effort was put into it and its just coatriding off the anime's success. It was so bad from start to end. Hope season 2 goes back to being better and this disappointment starts and ends with the movie.
