It's all and nothing - and this is bad. Lots of extremely brutal and sadistic voilence mixed with sweet, silly, pink-haired loli girls, humorous ecchi from time to time, romance, perversed sadistic images,childhood friends and so on - and nothing good as a result.
The brutality of this thing is extreme and very soon it reaches the point where poor, non-deep and forced plot becomes an excuse for showing another and another extremely bloody and cruel scenes. If you are fragile - absolutely don't watch it. It contains tons of innocent people teared apart, shooted, physically and mentally tortured, litlle girl with both her arms and legs cut off and it's all mostly for nothing. Not for a good plot nor for delivering any valuable thoughts. You watch a few episodes and you think you've seen all already but in next one there's new cruel idea that will make you regret it.
The story is in many moments predictable, in some way linear and it repeats the same schemes a couple of times. And large part of it doesn't make much sense - the things that happen are unlike to happen, still usually you know they turn out like this because you get used to this forced by makers, pretty nonsensical direction the story goes. Characters act irrationally and it's just dumb. There is so many illogical things I can't stand it. Also the further series goes, the more retrospecions there are in it including repeated scenes from the earlier episodes wich can take long and becomes annoying.
Art is on pretty good level, animation is not brilliant, characters are sometimes so undifferent that is hard to recognize who is who especially in black and white retrospective scenes, their faces are pretty the same. Mentioning black and white - that's exactly what their personalities are. The opening theme is interesting but opening alone shouldn't count to final rating. And this is about only melody you'll hear as a background music to the scenes.
This anime is not valuable, basically it's sick shit with poor, pretty illogical plot, rather flat characters and unused potential.
In summary this is:
- flushes of blood
- making explode or cutting off peoples heads and limbs
- nude little girls covered with blood and treated with cruelty
- more cruelty, really awful
- repeating scheme: oh how cute, how cute - BAM! - bloodbath and innocent victim (aside from it's sick - it gets lame boring too)
- pink-haired girl saing only "nyu"
- pretty silly loli-harem plot wich eventually turns out to fit the rest in no way
- and nothing more.
