My god.
I just started watching it due it to being passed around as "great" but I wasn't really buying it.
It was solid, but there are a few *entire* episodes that are totally expository, out of place, and just seemed forced.
I stand by that assessment, but when somebody sticks the landing, my god does everything else just fade away.
The final twist is so satisfying, validating, and absolutely justified - as so very few twists are.
All the characters are *real*, and nuanced, with their own values and motivations.
I feel so deeply respected as a viewer, with no major loose ends or gimmicks to elicit a reaction from me.
The ending itself left a knot in my stomach like so few have.
I've begun spamming all my friends that they need to check this out, which lead me to this moment.
We're friends right?
Watch Odd Taxi.
Buy the dvd and shoot a bootlegger.
