I've discovered this manga randomly and I'm glad I did. It's quite an unique manga in its themes and execution.

The main story revolves around 3 high schoolers and their personal relationships. But what could seem like a banal school life love triangle actually touches a lot of interesting and deep themes. The psychology and the personal development of each character are well done. Even secondary characters that looks stereotypical or single layered at first are explored and it makes the viewer then understand their motive and personnality better.

One particular plus of this manga is the way the author treats sexual orientation in a realistic manner. I come from a time where homosexuality in mangas were either very lighty hinted at and only left to interpretation (because otherwise ew you don't want to make choices that are controversial to a part of your viewerbase right? ), or left to an entire "fantasm" category (ie shonen ai/yuri/etc. Nothing wrong with this, but it's usually not realistic). I appreciate the fact it was part of an everyday type manga, it was even serialised in the shonen jump+ so kudo for that. I'm glad mentalities are evolving.

I also really liked the ending. I found it simple but beautiful. It's like it "normalizes" things like real life and adult life does, in contrast to the drama of high school (the only reason of my minus point lol, the drama is pretty strong in this one. I'm probably getting old.. ). It made me want to read again the manga and check things I may have missed. So it's a good sign!
