Mixed Feelings
First up: I haven't read the prequel but it is absolutely not necessary to do so anyway, since the story deals with two different characters than before.
Also a trigger warning for mention of abuse and rape.

The story deals with a doctor (Tonou) who is told by his boss to look after his son (Ichii) as a private patient who had just recently broken his wrist. Ichii seems to be taking advantage of this, enjoying the special treatment and asking Tonou for this and that...

The story has a very typical BL chlichee storyline with using misunderstandings, non-communication and rape as drama elements. The characters are flat and unmemorable, the romance seems forced and basically just goes back to "oh I saw him shirtless, why is my heart pounding so fast?"

Tateno Makoto's art is very pleasant to look at but unfortunately suffers from same-face syndrome and at points I had no idea who was talking to who or whether a newly introduced character was actually new or someone that had appeared before.

While it does have its drama elements it is all in all a rather soft and wholesome romancy story. I just never felt really attached to the characters or felt like rooting for them...
