The story is I think has a pretty ordinary fantasy setting (at least in the beginning). For most people it will a little bit interesting, but for others, who have had enough of this genre, I can imagine it being repulsive. But! Please believe in the mal points this time.
The characters have so much depth. It’s not like the story is influencing them (like in some other kinda predictable works), rather the characters are influencing the flow of the story. As they are interacting with each other, with their unique personalities, they kinda grow on the reader. In a good way.
The adventures are exciting, and the world, the setting is constantly changing (as it should be/as it is rational) and many ppl say that the progress is slow (at least I’ve read some of these), but there is always a little bit of moving. If not in power level, than in the relationships, or in the characters beliefs.
Overall for me it was a 9, because I don’t really like to give 10’s just after reading something. If I come back in a few month, reread it, and it still keeps entertaining me (I think it will), then it’s a 10.
