There was a lot for me to like in this story. Ultimately while I rate it high, I'll probably forget about it.

This thought I wrote at the end is actually the best summary for the whole show: I guess for an anime that doesnt slap us with reality so everything is warm and fuzzy, instead ending the show with how reality is (another day, people drift apart, don't know who we will see tomorrow, don't know what the future holds....), its rather unsettling.

The two main characters are great. Their relationship seems forced through a rocky start but once they get to know each other a bit, things start to progress. Why did our MC stop wearing his piercings and cut his hair? He went from social outcast to chaining everything about himself. I get that's what it felt like for me in high-school but the reality is I stopped caring what others thought about me and started caring for how other people really felt. I mean I understand that sometimes we need to compromise but the whole thing that drew her to him was for how he looked and his hidden parts.

Just when we get to a satisfying spot in episode 6 the story moves to the side characters. The only two who are interesting are the guy with the purple hair and the blonde haired girl. Instead we get treated to a what green hair guy things, and the red haired president, oh the green hair girl who is honestly a better match in personality with our MC and don't forget the cute pink haired girl... Literally the only thing that separates all the other side characters is their hair color because we have no reason to give a shit what they think. They're not developed enough that we actually care what they want. Wouldn't be a problem if there were more seasons.

The male MC (spoiler) even asks the female MC to marry her but who cares because we see nothing blossom from this. No though process of what that involves because we're graduating high school and have thought about what college will be like or what we are going to do for work.

The whole show had so much potential but ultimately doesn't wrap any stories up. Graduation is the end and.... well we didn't care to think about how the story ends because the days ended... I guess reality is like that but we only know that our two MC's will be together for at least dinner... Cant really be sure they'll do the college thing. I guess for an anime that doesn't slap us with reality, everything is warm and fuzzy so to end the show with how reality is, its rather unsettling.
