I got less than I expected.
It's quite a popular anime, so I thought it would be a fun watch. I love the adventurous genres. But there were a lot of flaws to it, as my opinion.
In serious scenes, there are funny bits that aren't even very funny, and it ruins the mood of the scene. Also, a lot of the character's lines are bland and unoriginal. So are the personalities of the characters.
There isn't much excitement or action in the fighting scenes, and Fairy Tail is focussed a lot on fighting. Most battles are also really short and the scenes go by quickly. There is supposed to be a lot of emotions in the scenes, but they go by so quick that it kinda ruins it.
A lot of the characters' personalities and actions are boring and generic, so that also ruins the fun of it. The main character, Natsu, always uses the same punchline and moves in the fighting scenes, so it gets kinda boring.
Also, there are a lot of unnecessary bits of information and parts of the story that I feel like just don't contribute to the story.
The whole vibe of the anime is nice though, and the art is pretty. If this anime had neither of those, I probably would've given it a 0. Don't really recommend watching it, unless you're really bored and don't have anything else to watch.
