Fullmetal alchemist was the very first anime I ever watched. I was very lucky, because my first anime turned out to be the best anime I have watched yet. The characters are flawless, their personalities fit perfectly to the lot. But what really got me was the plot. The plot, no doubt, was created by a pure genius (Hiromu Arakawa). It can bring tears of sadness, laughs of joy, and can even alter a person's perspective on life. To anyone who has not watched this series, I say nothing but good things for this anime, I HIGHLY recommend it. As a last note, the motto sticks with you forever: Nothing is given. You only receive if you have given something of equal value in return.
