I read Chi no Wadachi by Shuzo Oshimi, the same author, and it was spectacular. It kinda puzzles me that Aku no Hana is more popular than CNW, since I find the art in CNW and the story 10x better.
The story was very confusing for me at first, I didn't understand why anything was happening and it was a pain to read, but around the end, everything kinda comes together neatly.
The character development is pretty good, but the MC is just weak. (trying not to spoil)
The story is kinda unrealistic though, the plot etc, and it kinda made me go "What?" in my head a lot of times. Of course, it's a manga, but I would've preferred it to be a bit more believable.
Overall it was a good manga. I recommend reading it if you like psychological horror esque stories.
