Kimi ni Todoke maybe one of the best Slice of life anime I have come across till now. For people who enjoy slow developing stories, this series definitely must to be on your list of animes to watch.

Story begins with Kuronuma Sawako, who is mistook by everyone in her school as a spooky girl who can bring misfortune. A fateful encounter with Kazehaya Shota- the most popular student from her school, however, changes all that slowly. She begins to slowly open up more to others in her class. The most important change in her life is the beginning of her friendship with Ayane Yano and Chizuru Yoshida. Lots of fun and happy moments follow in the course of the story which Sawako enjoys with both of them. Attitude of her classmates towards her slowly starts changing and they now accept her more than they did before. A sweet development of ever increasing feelings between Kazehaya and Sawako through out the story follows.

An overview:
1) The scenes in the series are really well crafted and are a complete delight to watch. Though Sawako is portrayed as a somewhat spooky girl she is probably the most optimistic amongst any of her classmates. Her flustering on the smallest of the things that a normal student wouldn't even bother, really add to many hilarious moments in the episodes.

2) Her friendship with Ayane and Chizuru has been developed very carefully and is very believable.

3) Developement of romantic feelings between Kazehaya and Sawako are really really cute and innocent.

4) Lots of hilarious moments since Chizuru is absolutely dense when it comes to understanding many emotions.

4) Chizuru's story unfolded at a later part of the show is really touching in many ways.

5) Character development is strong and meticulously followed throughout the show.

6) Dialogues are very well written and have a lot of depth if listened to carefully.

7) Music is soothing though maybe there was some scope for improvement.

8) Animation really good.

9) Encode is excellent.

Note: This is specifically for all girls: If you think that a guy shown blushing is absolutely kawaii then you have a treat in this show. Cause Kazehaya blushes a lot in this show which I personally founfd absolutely adorable :))
