I was honestly just expecting Jobless Reincarnation to be a mediocre isekai and was going to watch it just for that, but it actually wound up being a lot more disappointing than that.
In the beginning the plot and the main character is where Jobless Reincarnation really shines. Instead of the standard isekai that whisks someone away and gives them OP abilities, Jobless Reincarnation takes the opportunity to show Rudy's thought process and the method he uses to be successful in the fantasy world he was reincarnated into. Since he had already lived a life in our world, Rudy is able to take what he has learned and apply it to a new life. He also brings with him his regrets and bad memories providing an intriguing way to get to know the character. Also, The animation is really nice at times and the soundtrack is pretty good.
Sadly, the show really falls off after the mc leaves his hometown. They stop focusing on the little details that made it interesting and doing the same old typical isekai stuff. Additionally, it is chocked full of gross sexual/pedophilic stuff. I was optimistic for what this show could do, but I only ended up underwhelmed.
