But one thing I do like is the different angle this anime went for when telling the story, it was as real as it can get, you get a real feel for how the political aspect of the story works, the underhanded tricks society uses against you, and the way it showed Naofumi slowly understand how the shield works is also a great pleasure to watch. But yet again, the dynamic of the show is ruined by the bad story planning and shitty characters.

Overall I liked the beginning and end of the series, but the mid point conflict and storyline was unbearable. I also appreciate how this series made me want to beat the shit out of a woman, fuck you myne. That is all, great story, horrible execution.
