This anime is such a treat. When I first discovered it, I thought of it as just a feel good rom com. However, it was much more than that. The plot sees just a simple married couple living a very simple life. The funny thing is, is that they get married in the first episode right when they meet. I've seen so many complex anime with really unique writing and themes, but this one doesn't do any of that. In fact, there isn't really anything special about this anime or the characters at all. Most of the characters are not unique, in fact they are pretty generic. I think the charm comes from the simplicity of this anime. It allowed me to take a step back from analyzing great writing and just enjoy myself. That is the whole point of this show, and that message is clearly present. Unlike other feel good animes, this anime has a charm and is special compared to other shows. It truly shows that you need to appreciate the simple things in life. This anime is unique in its own way, and I simply adored it.
