A decent sequel, though it can't beat the first season which the series set the standard very high with its great storylines and darker theme. However i do like the character development of the main character Tsunemori Akane, she has turn into a wonderful, brave, and badass inspector and overall a better protagonist, the soundtracks is better and personally i like the music in the second season better than the first one. There is also a great improvement in the art and graphical images and theme, although it still lacks a bit of detail unlike the first season

Even though it came with many improvement, gotta say that the first season of psycho pass really sets the monumental standard very high and the second season failed to serve the viewers the intensity and great storylines like the first season. Other than Tsunemori Akane, the rest of the character is not giving a unique addition to the series and the old character from the first season is still the same and doesn't give much impact with little to zero development. Second season really miss the first season caliber antagonist, it just way too different and Shogo as main antagonist in the first season is far superior in terms of his vision and action compare to Kirito Kamui

Overall a very decent sequel, but to live up to the hype of its first season, its not up to that point. Still enjoyable to watch and 11 episode is kinda short series and you can easily watch all these in short amount of time
