Mixed Feelings
I gave the first season of Psycho-Pass a 9, so you can say that the second season is really disappointing. I would have given it a significantly higher score if it were the first season though. The reason - they are basically identical. The second season is virtually the same as the first, just add a new freshman inspector Mika Shimotsuki, who admires Sybil almost religiously and does everything by the book, even when it leads to deaths of innocents. There's a new villain but he's virtually a copy of the one from the first season - again, he's someone who cannot be judged by Sybil and commits horrible deeds in public and again, Sybil attempting to eliminate the threat as silently as possible in order to avoid having to recognize its own flaws. There are also new enforcers and just like the first season, not all can be trusted.
This review seems really short and I'm really trying to remember whether there's anything I might have missed but I really can't find anything. No real reason to watch, maybe except if you plan to watch the movie and/or 3rd season, which takes place after the events of this season.
Regarding art and sound - exactly the same as the first season, which is to be expected, so no change in scores here.
Overall, this had great potential but ended up as a major disappointment.
