when I started to watch black clover it looked like it was going to be another basic show along the lines of Fairy tale and my hero, basically pop corn entertainment. it was worrying for me because the MC Asta says "im going to be the wizard king!"I cringed because its so similar to what Luffy says in One piece. but i kept on watching and watching and....... holy shit, around ep 13 the show really picks up! PLEASE if you are thinking the way i was please continue watching you wont regret it! i became so invested in the story (since it picks up fast) that i could not stop watching until I saw it trough. the story is the best part of BC imo, it manages to stay concise, interesting and original all at the same time. I was shocked at all the twists and turns that occur in most arc's of BC. the writer has a amazing way of setting up almost impossible feats for the main cast to over come, and the main cast actually besting the enemy in a smart way and, that isnt just "My FiReNdS,blah, blah, blah". also one of the cool things about BC is that most characters are very powerful in there own right, and dont just suck off asta when he does something cool,(they do some times but not as much as other shows) if anything its the opposite they call him dumb and stupid for being a magic-less commoner. the main cast all have funny and unique personality's and ability's all there backstory s are meaningful and they all have a reason to be doing what they do. its not on One Piece level back story but its still interesting enough. the battles of BC are colorful and epic the music used is amazing and enjoyable. BC is the most promising shonen that has come out in the past couple of years. WOULD 110% RECOMMEND
