Shigofumi is Violet Evergarden loli version.

Although Violet Evergarden effortlessly outshines Shigofumi. Shigofumi's story truly deems entertaining and to my surprise actually, legitimately caught me off guard entirely.
Shigofumi explores the unholy abyss of depression, suicide, abuse, bully and threats. The story centers around Fumika, a mail carrier from the afterlife who delivers letters of those who kicked the bucket to living, associated people of the ones who left the world.
Though Shigofumi doesn't really feel like it was treated with good care by the makers hence making the story a bit wacky halfway through. I truly enjoyed watching this show and it was probably one of the weirdest yet good experience I've had in a long while.
If you're looking for a super drama show which is similar to Violet Evergarden then this is just for you. Though I wouldn't exactly say that you'd shed the same amount of tears or even the same type. Despite the similarities between the two, they are actually quite distinct and shines differently.
