Paulette's Chair does a lot more in 4 minutes than many other shows do in 24.
We never really think too much about the inanimate objects that we interact with on a daily basis. Whether it's a desk, a bed frame, a laptop stand or a little chair, these objects support our daily lives and see us at our best and at our worst. This cute short reminded me of all the personal objects I owned growing up and how many of them were always intertwined with the way I lived, daydreamed, worked and eventually matured.
Even though I didn't necessarily recognize the landscapes and scenes from this short clip, its entire atmosphere still felt somewhat familiar and almost nostalgic. The whole thing reminded me of my ~youthful innocence~
Overall, what stood out to me the most was the animation. I thought the art style was very pretty and quaint. The soundtrack was also relaxing and set the clip's atmosphere very well.
