Code Breaker isn’t a masterpiece or not even very good show. Yet I can surely say it has tremendous potential.
The start was great. But by the second episode, I become very annoyed by leading female character Sakura. She is so annoying that it almost killed my will to watch the show. If the lead Ogami was +ve charge, Sakura was -ve charge. As a result the show was almost going for a big Zero. UNTILL...
The premise of the show isn’t good enough to make you glued to screen. But aftet episode 8/9 the show Start becoming more engaging.
Supporting characters are good and had better impact that annoying lead female Sakura. But for me the best character was The man who played the villain : Hitomi.
Hitomi wasn’t exciting untill very last 2 episodes, but I have to say he make the show not turning a disaster just like the OPM 2 Goru. Hitomi's background is interesting, he is a cool character overall.
Overall this show is a 7/10, just because of last two episode's Hitomi's performance. If not Hitomi show would have been a 5/6 out of 10.
Show isn’t that bad as MAL score suggest, but isn’t great either. If the silly Sakura was replaced by a good female lead, it might turn to be a great one for me.
The cliffhanger looks appealing and I might try the manga as it is a finished product.
