Carole and Tuesday is the first music anime that I've watched. I enjoyed this series a lot, mainly because it strikes me as different. Let's start with the main characters: Carole & Tuesday. Carole, a minority, who is an orphan that hops from job to job to keep a roof over her head. Tuesday comes from a rich family that barely pays were any attention. Both girls share loneliness, hence their first song "The Loneliest Girl." The girls become close because they suffer similar pain and share their love for music. (There is a rumor claiming that they may be a lesbian couple, but I'm not entirely sure if that is a true statement.)

My only issue with this anime is that the second season felt a bit rushed. The immigration issues and Tuesday's mother's campaign felt like it came out of nowhere. The first season went at a very comfortable pace and I enjoyed it a lot. We were told that Tuesday's mother was a politician from the very beginning, but her campaign speeches and immigration laws seemed out of the blue. I felt like anime could've eased their way into that instead of throwing us into the deep end.

Overall, I enjoyed the anime. I loved the representation of different communities in their characters. GGK, who I assume is Indian representation. Mermaid Sisters and Desmond are non-binary. I assume Cybelle is lesbian. I believe you get my point.
