So, I haven't written many reviews thus far, and this anime surely does have quite a bit of them. With that said though, I finally got around to watching it at a friend's suggestion. The original plan was for both of us to watch it at the same time, but I ended up going straight through it in a week and a half.

I suppose if I went through it that fast, it should imply that I really quite liked it, and I did. The music is fantastic, the artwork is stunning, but the story can be a bit flat at times. Overall though I found many of the stories within this anime to open up some old wounds. Of course, they are most likely a bit exaggerated for the purpose of the story, but regardless of those, the main points of the episodes were well written.

I definitely wish there was another season or two in addition to the movies that had come out for it. I very much recommend the series to those who have not seen it, and perhaps again to those who have not seen it in some time.
