Hey look at that, an anime with an original plot! You don't see many of those these days!

Eden of the East was a fresh breath of air. In an industry that thrives on the same old humor, love stories, and fight scenes it was nice to see something that wasn't exactly like every other anime you've seen. The moment the first episode starts in Washington D.C. you had no idea what was going to happen next. I like that. Eden of the East was adventurous, following an oddly confident man with amnesia. You go along for the ride as he tries to discover his past and the troubles that he'd gotten himself into.

Eden of the East is pleasantly unpredictable. All of the characters are likable and it questions the limits of human kindness. It's just like a Hollywood mystery. And the fact that it's only 11 episodes makes it more like a long movie rather than a show. You'll want to watch the entire thing in one sitting. Buy it, rent it, I don't care. Just so make sure that you see Eden of the East.
